Title: Marvin won second place in contest
Post by: petey on October 02, 2009, 09:17:29 PM: Marvin entered the "Kidney Times" essay contest ("What helps you live a joyful life in spite of kidney disease?"). He won second place -- and a $300 prize.

Hanify -- somebody posted it here a while back (the fact that they were having the contest and how to enter). I think it was Okarol who posted it. Marvin wants to use the prize money to get a new laptop for his "clinic" (he plays on the computer the whole time he's on his home hemo treatments). I know I'll have to put a little with his prize money to get him the type laptop he wants, but he's worth it!
