:oops;
Last night when I gave Jim his Procrit injection it was apparent that I didn't make sure the needle was tightly attached to the syringe. So, just how much money did I squirt on my face and down Jims arm?
As it turns out the pharmacy sent an extra 20,000 unit bottle but I don't know why. If they changed his dose we were not informed and the label didn't indicate a change. And, they only sent one needle and syringe.
I am trying not to feel guilty but I sure hope I didn't short him on the dosage.

Did you lose all of it? 20,000 units of Procrit costs somewhere around $300, depending on whether it's 1 ml or 2 for that total. I used to use 40,000 U per month, and my insurance only covered 80% of that, so I was paying $120 or so each time I picked it up.
