I was thinking about creating a site, but it looks like someone beat me to it. I had my 3rd Dialysis session today - So far, I can deal with the pinch of the needles in my arm. What I can't stand is the fact I've lost my sense of taste. I'm told it will come back, but in the meantime following a renal diet is hard. I've cheated on my diet a couple of times - the latest was Chicken Fingers from Mcdonald's. I got so mad because they didn't taste like they used to and gave them to my wife who gave me one of those "I told you so looks" I currently go to the VA Hospital in Cleveland, OH. I'm a service-connected VET.

Welcome to the site, I'm glad you found it. This site is here for you to get the truth about dialysis and to vent your frustrations about dialysis. Since you are new to dialysis feel free to ask any questions you want. I hope you come back often to share your experiences with us. Good luck to you, you have a long road ahead.
