Title: Piedmont Hospital
Post by: bountyhunter_ga on July 27, 2009, 06:01:13 AM
Good morning all, Tuesday July 28 I will be going to my new hospital for a work up.The old hospital Emory is still sending bills for work they think they did.
My donor is on fast track at Piedmont, where Emory wouldn't even talk to him for six months.
I guess we have all gone through at some  level with a hospital, I guess they forget who's paying the bills and who they need to talk to.
I don't think its as much the doctors as administration side of the house. But regardless once you have had enough with people not talking to you , get your shit together and stand up to these guys, remember your the one with the problem not these pencil pushers.
god bless, like an old friend used to say at every good by "Red Skelton"

A friend of ours got his transplant at Piedmont seven years ago. He has nothing but good things to say about it. Wants us to list there, too.

Best wishes,
Aleta

It has been so hard for me to accept help from others. But you know it feels good ,I hope to be able to repay some that have helped me. I Can just imagine what some of you guys are going through on a daily bases  judging from my short time on Dialysis alone.
God bless you all and if you are ever in Dawsonville, Ga look me up I'm working the metal detector in the court house now. light duty until I'm fit work again.

Good luck!  My donor and I had a great experience at Emory, I know someone who had his Tx at Piedmont and was very happy there, too.  It's great to be so close to two transplant centers.

I'm on the list at Piedmont Hospital Transplant Center , and have had excellent service at Piedmont Hospital for everything I had to get done there.  I have had surgery there to create my back up fistula, and I also had my PD catheter placed there.  The Transplant Center is excellent there.  Good luck with everything !

I'm so grateful to have met all of you guys.
I can only imagine what type of care and medical treatment that's out there.
I wish I had it within my power to male Kidney treatment and care as important as so many of the causes that politicians"ass have , such as bridges going nowhere.
Better yet how about making Kidney treatment on the same line as the little darter fish millions have be pumped into these projects with little or no results.
How about warfare lines, people pick up their checks in cadillacs and haven't worked for years no incentive by the government to do so.
There are many causes that could be converted to a more useful purpose as ours, or other  worthy medical  procedures.
We take of countries that hate us, just a portion of these budgets could cure, offer help or assist in family living of those in need in this country.
Thank you all again, please help me understand why we arenot importaint to "OUR" government.
