This thread reminds me -- I don't know if this is the case here - but sometimes members hit "reply" to the notification email telling them they have a PM, rather than logging in and responding through the IHD inbox. So those messages end up being sent to our admin email as dead letters - undeliverable, and YOU'D NEVER KNEW IT HAPPENED! So be sure you're replying through IHD or your recipient will never get the message from you.

I have done that.  Just merrily wrote a book in a PM and sent it to the admin outerspace area.

The reply I sent to Kickstart that day would be a fair few chapters of a book!!!...

Maybe you still have those chapters saved in a "Sent" mailbox so you don't have to re-type it all.
