From an NKF email alert:

Seeking People Whose Transplant Surgery is Planned for This Summer to Participate in MTV Series

Producers of MTV's "True Life," have contacted NKF looking to find young people who may be interested in sharing their story. "True Life" is a long-running and critically acclaimed documentary series focusing on teenagers and young adults in their twenties, with each episode centering in on a specific topic - family, health, relationships, education, etc. For this particular episode they are looking to speak to young people facing an impending surgery.

They have asked NKF to find people who fit all of the following criteria:

*people between ages 16-28

*people who have scheduled transplant surgery (they can be either the donor or recipient) in July or early August

*people who can give a time commitment of 6-8 weeks of filming to the show and who will invite producers to accompany them to doctors appointments, procedures, etc.

If you fit all these criteria please contact Ellie Schlam at ellies@kidney.org as soon as possible.

Thank you,
