:2thumbsup;;It's About Time! :clap;
Yesterday at about 10am, they rolled me into the O.R. to put in the new graft in my upper left arm.
Twenty minutes ago, I checked my arm, and the thrill is back!
I can't "feel" it in the tube, but when I hold my arm up to my ear, there is the wonderful sound of "swoosh, swoosh!"
It's pretty sore, but nowhere as painful as it was for the first one.
Followup with surgeon in about 3 weeks, and the cath. should be out shortly after. Yank that thing!

Glad to hear all went well! Here's to hoping they can take that catheter out ASAP! :2thumbsup;

Good news Jon, but please don't have them yank out the catheter. That's what the stupid doctor
from radiology did and it broke in my chest. Nothing like the feel of blood running down your arm.

I'm very happy for you. Let's hope your new graft works out well for you for a long time to come. I know it will be a great feeling for you when that catheter is out of you for good!
