Hi folks, can anyone suggest a good low phos & low k source of dietry fibre (if it exists!)?

I take psyllium fibre husk, but be sure to check with your doctor about it and ask if it would interfere with any meds you take. On the package it says to take it two hours away from any medications.

Monrein, thats very helpful info. Hopefully, i will be seeing my Neph this week, so i'll check it out. Thanks!

Psyllium must be taken with a significant amount of fluid, to prevent choking. This can be a problem on severely fluid-restricted diets. And it can interfere with the absorption of meds and minerals, if you take them together with psyllium.
An alternative is Unifiber. Unifiber doesn't need to be taken with fluid, though it can be mixed into foods or beverages too. And Unifiber is just cellulose, so it doesn't interact with meds you are taking.
