KIDNEY PRAYER

April 25, 2009 -- NEW YORK POST

NATALIE Cole is worried she may not find a kidney donor in time. Nat King Cole's superstar daughter, who's currently on dialysis, told Los Angeles Confidential magazine: "In my younger, hell-raising days, I was an active drug user, and heroin was my drug of choice. In the process contracted the hep C virus." The singer is now praying an organ transplant will come through soon, "but, at the moment, where it's coming from, heaven only knows," she said.

At the risk of sounding heartless. WTF? A couple of weeks ago on Larry King she said she was waiting until her tour was over, and dialysis was a piece of cake. Does she think because she is a star, she should just jump to the head of the line? I think I am having a bad day.  :banghead;

Yes, WW and all...I was thinking the same thing....too late for what??? next golf tee time??? come on...
Early on in her kidney failure she was talking to can't remember who and was going on and on about how she loves NxStage...she can just take it all over...sure...her handlers can take it all over and I'm sure she just has her nails manicured while waiting for the run to end and the clean up done by someone else...give me a break....I would be in heaven with her style of NxStage.  Someone needs to tell her she won't jump to the head of the line at all but she could really get a lot of donors for everyone using her stardom to talk it up.  Yes, I'm having an I don't care what I say today day.  And it's great.

We never know what people actually said when these news stories come out. I know because I have been misquoted before. But that doesn't stop people from forming opinions.
