I have been a diabetic since 1985. My kidneys failed sept. 08. I tripped and broke my hip oct. 08. the mice set up house in my wifes car engine. Had almost 3k in repairs to get it to run again. I have retinopathy and have gone blind in one or both eyes on and off for two years. A tree branch fell on me and broke my glasses. My best friend passed away from lukemea last spring. The guys at work have started calling me lucky.

Wow! I guess "Lucky" would be a word.
When it rains it pours. There is something about lemons.......
Try and sit down and count some of your blessings. You have a wife, who has a car that now runs. You must have a house and a job.

Reminded me of that old thread "Rants and Raves" - listing the good and the bad for the year.
-
Howdy Lucky, glad to know you :cheer:
I would not ever try to imagine what your life would be like if people called you Unlucky
when life gives you lemons, make lemonade
when life calls you Lucky, run the other way

Play the lottery.
Put this to music and you will have a number one country hit.

Some people would say if it wasn't for bad luck you wouldn't have any luck but I wish you the best of luck take care

When life hands you lemonade
Throw them back!
Ask for chocolate instead!
I had a year close to that a few years back. Lordy it rains when it pours, don't it!
