Just to update those of you who followed my story on Dad and his platelets dropping to 1 (yes really !!). Today the hematologist said they are up to 118 which is great news :2thumbsup; They were 1 then 6, then 30 and by the time the hospital discharged him 88. Now 3 weeks later it's 118.
He has been seeing the hematologist weekly and now has to go back in 2 weeks which is a bit of respite for him (at 80yrs of age travelling almost an hour each way to have 3 lots of dialysis a week is enough).
He has terrible pain in his foot which may be ischaemia (?sp) and has an appointment for Thursday to see a vascular surgeon, so any prayers or positive thoughts that you can spare for him would be much appreciated.
Thank you :grouphug;

Have never heard of a full prayer list.
So prayers and good wishes coming his way and your way.
That is a busy schedule for a 40 year old let alone one of our elders.
Glad his platelets are going up :thumbup;

Thanks everyone, Dad is finding it all very tiring (as you can imagine) but the news today did perk him up - we only hope now that they can do something to ease the pain in his foot without too much drastic surgery as his heart isn't good.
Bless you for your love and concern it helps us both (and Mum) to carry on :grouphug;
