Well Im 25 years old and I first found out I had renal failure when I was 17 yrs old. I did dialysis for 6 months and somehow it all got better. I was free from dialysis until November of 2007, when I was 23 yrs old, Ive been on dialysis every since and Im training now to do PD.

Welcome to our community, Dana!  So glad you found us and joined us.  So sorry you had to deal with renal failure at such an early age. This is a great place for information, support when you need it, and even some fun.   You see, this is much more than a website - it is a real family  :grouphug;  So just keep reading and keep posting.

I am a newbie, also. My youngest daughter (14 years old) is currently on hemo-dialysis (14 months - driving her crazy  :stressed;).  I hope that the PD works out well for you.  This group is great support.
