Title: Let me introduce myself

I haven't been on dialysis too long, I started in September of 2008. It was a complete shock to me..still is. I am a 55 year old mother and grandmother. This is a journey I am glad I do not have to travel alone, I am sooo glad I found this site!

Welcome to our community!  This is a good place to be.  You and I have quite a few things in common - in our 50's, grandmother, mother and started dialysis a September (mine, 2005!)  Now we have this in common too - we belong to the IHD family  :grouphug;  This is great for information, support and some great fun.   Just keep reading and keep posting.  Let us know how you are doing.  You can go to the family section and post pictures so we can get to know you and your family.  Please take advantage of all this site has to offer.
