So I am pretty sure that I have a UTI and am wondering if I can get tested for it and prescription at dialysis??
Thanks!
-
I usually just told my neph I had a UTI when she came around to my chair and she would prescribe something for me.
-
Guess it depends on your neph. It's kidney related, so you would think it would be part of their repertoire.
-
Of course you can. You should be able to call the Nurse, if you are not there. She should have something called in for you.
-
Man...we need a glossary.
What is UTI?
???

Oops! I just saw the acronym thread and all the alphabet soup...but there are still big words that confuse me :P

Urinary Tract Infection

Lol ok I know it's weird but I think my UTI is gone by itself?? is that possible?
-
Could happen but it's a good idea to have your urine tested for infection just in case. My tolerance for discomfort and pain is pretty high so I can ignore or not feel things that ought not to be ignored. Because we go through so much it's easy to NOT want to deal with anything extra but the test is simple for the peace of mind.

Off topic, but isn't that a pretty picture of Monrein???? So pretty :flower;

Aw, thanks you two. You're both very sweet. It was taken at my cousin's wedding here in September. The bride's family is Korean and it was a really fun time.
