Toward the end of my run on the dialysis machine today my blood pressure dropped to 76 over 29. It was a very strange feeling. Almost like you where just drifting on a calm sea. My question is what is the lowest anyone has gotten too and are still with us, and what did it feel like?.

Hey Boxman, I don't exactly remember the actual number, but just before I fainted, it was weird, I couldn't hear anything and everybody was in slow motion, then it was lights out!! That part wasn't too much fun, and I have made sure that never happens again.

it happens to me almost every treatment
I got down to 26 and I also felt a drifting away feeling
and then I get real light headed
one time a tech let me leave at 36
I feel weak and my head hurts
and I have this history and the techs always act surprised
our unit was audited
the techs were not waiting 5 minutes for the heparin to go in before starting treatment so it was not doing the patients any good
well, for a few treatments they were careful with an alarm going off after 5 minutes
today, I had to ask the tech if she waited and she did not

48/12 and all I knew was I was on my head and the nurses were yelling at me...major headache after...this was early on in D..while in ND I passed out several times and somehow the Dr's in NC have me regulated pretty well. Lowest I go now is 76/something but no problem. Nehp said not to increase my dry weight but just to let me be as long as I feel good so they are. Boxman, hope you feel better.

68/48 and the nurse was afraid to tell me. Boy I could feel that. Dizzy and whizzy and feeling like crap.

72/50 I was sweating like mad, blacking out and feeling a bit nauseous.

Nanay is in the hospital because of this persistent drop in her b/p. What we did before was to have her on a little saline plushing for every 30 mins. while she's hooked. The plushing is always added on her output, or we would feed her with some salty soup, this worked for a while. The Neph decided to have her checked in. The culprit is her low albumin. She had and albumin IV and her b/p is back to normal. She is scheduled to check out tomorrow. Hope this helps.
