it is time to start worrying about me
I am going to meet IKE
and not the dead President IKE (I hope)
it is getting a little spooky around here
my dogs are acting weird
Sad Sack and Yogi howl and whine and cry
we have to give them benadril
remember
TEACHERS SUCK FOREVER
just when I get a sexy avartar
IKE comes

P.S.  Those boots on your avatar look pretty waterproof, but I'm quite concerned about the rest of the outfit.  That baton could really attract lightning.

Stay safe, Twirly! I do not think we are going anywhere. I'm stocking up on doggy food tomorrow in case we get flooded in. Can you believe they are making us go in for 1/2 day tomorrow? All the other districts have NO school tomorrow. Stupid district!

Stay safe, Twirly!

My husband does not want to evacuate so we are riding out the storm. I am worried about not having electricity. We have well water so if there's no electricity there's no flushing toilets or bathing! Yikes!! (And no Internet -- I do not know which is worse.)

People in Ike's path please stay safe!!  I have only watched hurricanes on TV!!!  We sometimes get the tail end of them but they have "petered" out a lot by the time they get this far north.   Usually just a tropical storm by the time they get here.  :flower;  Get the big stick for Ike  :Kit n Stik; and twirl please don't use  :Kit n Stik; on your hubby no matter how mad he makes you.  :cuddle;

Fuel!
Chain Saw!
Fuel!
Propane for the gas grill!
Did I mention fuel?

To any of you in the path and on dialysis, be careful what you eat, and drink sparingly. Even if you never pay attention to dietary restrictions, do so now! High potassium can kill you, probably quicker than anything else (well, then there's drowning from the inside with fluid overload, and uremia). Follow that disaster diet until you're sure you can get dialysis. This is the scariest storm I have seen since being a part of IHD and I want to see everyone back here safe after he passes!

I am worried and hope like hell Ike leaves your area alone.   Do not think you are alone in this. We are all here hoping Ike goes away. Maybe all of our blowing towards it will turn it away from you.
