When my husband got home at 5:30 a.m. from working he found one of our neighbors St. Bernard puppies standing in our front yard.  He didn't see the 2nd (sister) so he brought the pup inside.  They are about 14-15 weeks old and HUGE!  I got up and was shocked to see her staring at me in the hallway.  I went outside to search for the sister.  I couldn't find her.  I was so upset!  This is the second time they have escaped from their backyard.  It was drizzle raining so I got my shoes on and went back outside.  I found her wondering around on the side yard.  I brought her in, as well.  One is the "runt" of the litter and the other is regular puppy size (well, regular for a St. Bernard), but apparently her markings aren't "good" so no one wanted her so my neighbor took them both.  Their feet are humongous!  I took some photos and I'll post when I get them developed.

They played with my dogs, drank tons of water and drooled it all over my livingroom, and finally after an hour or so fell asleep on the tile floor.  My neighbor works nights and I was pretty sure he was still sleeping so I didn't take them back until about 9:30 a.m.  I just put them back in the backyard and hopefully the gate will stay closed.  I don't know how they are escaping, but the gate is always open when I find them.  They must be pushing on it until the latch pops, but the gate is always swung into the yard and not out.  Maybe they pull at it with their paws???

I LOVE PUPPIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   My Greyhound was very tolerant, but my lab mix acted like a celebrity with paparazzi.  He would bait them into chasing him and then act annoyed that they were chasing him.  It was too funny and way too cute!!!  My darn video camera battery was dead!!!

This is my Lab mix, Pup.  He's about 3 years old and full size.  One of the puppies is as big as him, not as heavy, but just as tall and long and she's 14-15 WEEKS!   ADORABLE!  I'll take my film in and get it developed ASAP!!  Her feet are about 3 x the size of pups!
