What a season! other than okarol and kitkatz, are there any other ihders that haven't gotten a good tropical soaking this year. Fay soaked the entire south, Gustav central from south to north (i think the sluffbunny even got wet from Gustav), now Hannah getting the whole eastern seaboard.

Ike caught my attention when it went from a Cat 1 to a Cat 4 overnight earlier this week and got a scare early Friday morning when Ike's forecast path took it directly through the center of Florida from north to south. I will take Rolando and run should that happen (with him kicking and screaming - he likes violent weather  ::) ). Today things are looking better for us, but not so much for New Orleans - looks like Ike may be eying them.

Time will tell...

Last I saw Ike was headed for the east southern coast. It must have shifted.

We finally got a little rain yesterday. We'll get ours in the spring when tornado season starts.

It looks like Cuba will be hammered by Ike. The storm has slid further to the west, looking more like it's headed for east Texas. Boxman, glad your friend got off of the island. they've been having a rough time in the islands, especially Haiti.
