 :yahoo; Dustins car show was a huge success!!! 97 ppl registered and it was open to the public. One of Dustin's friends raps and sang, an another band played. We had all kinds of food. Waitng to hear our total $$$ for the National Kidney Foundation!! We had a donation box and ppl put money in it!!!! We had a memorial in the corner of the  lot just for Dustin! My dad Dustin's grampa even put his truck in the car show along with my brother and nephew.

It was a hot and humid day but it was bittersweet. Their were 3 ppl from the organ procurement 1 was a total lung recipient and the other a heart.
I think I might have inspired them to write their donors family. I am sending my letter to Benjamin today and will let you all know when I get a reply!!!

Hope all of you are hangin in their . I love you all!! Will get pics on here soon!!!

Lori every time I read one of your posts I am stunned and humbled.  I can't think of anything in the world worse than losing a child but you are turning this into such a positive thing and I so admire you, I know you must have your days when you are down and unhappy but Dustin will be looking down and so proud of the way you are dealing with this.   :cuddle;   He was clearly loved by many and is not going to be forgotten, that must be a comfort to you. :grouphug;

Glad it was so successful, and for such a great cause.  Your son continues to inspire people and make a difference every day!  We would all be privileged to be able to have the same said of us someday.   :cuddle;
