I get sick of looking at the same one all the time so I switch them around. Maybe I just have a short attention span.

Same here twirl.
It takes me forever to figure out how to re-size pictures and post them.
I picked the rubber duck from the choices given when you sign up. A rubber duck was the one of the first gifts my husband gave me way back when becasue I told him I liked to take baths. I still have it and it's 28 yrs old now.

I have had a few different avatars but couldn't decide on one. I have the one I use now because of the Any More Brits Out There On Dialysis thread.

My avatar is my two Yorkies.
When I found out about my kidney disease, had to go on dialysis, or my transplant wasn't working sometimes the only reason I would get up on a morning I didn't have to work was to feed my cat, let the dogs out, or play with a whining Schnappi. My pets keep me sane. I do not have kids so they are my kid substitutes -- or so my sister says. So pet pictures are everywhere -- my desk at school, my myspace, my dining room, my classroom and IHD!

I love my pets, children or no children-- my children used to say I loved my cat more than I loved them---- I told them if they wanted to drink out of the toilet and use kitty litter and eat canned tuna (cheap tuna) go ahead---ha ha ha - and children or no children I was always so attacked to my students - they would say to me I must be a awesome mom and I know what it is like to have the worse child in school--- we could trade stories I am sure----- one student had to rub a rock everytime he heard thunder or rain and all of his assignments had to be where he could answer making pop-out books--usually I got the more violent ones b/c I have a way of getting on with these students--- once you are known as that kind of a teacher - you really get it........ cheryl

The wave avatar is my favorite - I spend all my time around water, but I went ahead and put a pic of me and Stephen up for a change.

Just before I saw this thread, I was looking at my avatar and thinking 'How could I ever change this?' The answer is that I will only change it, if it is put up as part of the site, where they can always be seen.

My avatar is my new baby girl. I will have to change it soon as she is getting bigger now and she is looking very different. My other two babies are getting jealous so I might have to put a pic of all three up on the site. x

I'm lazy and I think Tigger is very photogenic, so I grabbed a picture I used to make calendars for friends a few years ago & called it good!

AND, Paris, I think of you daily since I have an Eiffel Tower key ring on the zipper tab of my handbag. It is silver, about an inch and a half long and looks just like your avatar but without ribbon or tiara. Makes opening and closing my purse so much easier, especially on D.
