There are quite a few that I have experienced so far and I will list them.... but none of them compare to how great I usually feel and not to mention no more dialysis.... and hey, I can PEE!!!!!   :flower;

Okay... here are some of the side effects I have experienced so far ( 3 months post tx):

rash... not painful or anything.... I only had rashes for about 4 - 6 weeks post tx

headaches .... maybe about 2 or 3 a week... not bad ones though

diarrhea (however you spell that stupid word!!)... was worse for about the first 4 weeks post tx... I still have some problems with this but not too bad, maybe once a week but I take immodium and it clears it right up.

painful gas... ehhh... maybe once a week

lower healing time (I have had a 'cold sore' in my mouth for a week and a half!!!  It also took my incision about 8 weeks to fully heal) this one truly sux!

fatigue... we think this is more due to my blood pressure meds

higher SGOT and SPGT (liver levels)  We think that has more to do with my Lipitor so I have stopped taking Lipitor and started with fish oil tablets... my neph also lowered my Myfortic (antirejection meds) from 1080mg/am and 1080mg/pm  to 900/am and 900/pm.  These levels have started to come down.

weight gain and increased appetite due to the high doses of steroids.  I gained about 30lbs, but have since already lost about 11 lbs.

cramps in the hands and feet... right after tx I had cramps in my feet for about 2 weeks.  I do have cramps in my hands still, but usually when I am doing something repetitive with it.. like pealing potatoes, stirring food, etc...

 :beer1;    Here's to these meds, that's for sure. However, here are some of the annoying side effects that I have  :thumbdown;:
Insomnia- they can't decide whether it's the steroid, prograf, or cellcept so I continue to take ambien
Weight gain- definitely the steroid. some neph's say you can come off steroids but mine in St. Louis say there is not enough research about rejection without it. I've been working out but when you're eating everything in sight, it's tough.
Acne- breaking out on face and chest, also from steroids
