Well i have been on hemodialysis since December last year. and my sister has been tested and she is a match,
and a date has been set for the transplant sometime in November.  :yahoo;

I just wondering about the urostomy bag on my stomach. will it be a problem with regards to infections.

is there anyone out there with experience on the subject or have more info.

thanks as always

I had two C-sections and the bag was never a problem. Urine is sterile so it should not affect the incision. That is what I was told.

unfortunately my urostomy bag leaked onto the wound and i got a nasty infection. the wound is still oozing, pretty nasty.
i now have a drainage bag covering the part of the wound that oozes. its a real pain.

How annoying, and you were worried about this too.  I hope it gets better soon.
