And I don't have any!!!
After 10 perfect months, all of a sudden, this is an issue....
Maybe Gus can lend me one of his. I'm good for long walks, and I like to cuddle.... Hmm I wonder if DaVita would object to my new partner weighing less than 6 pounds.....

My cat knows she can come sit on my lap when the machine has stopped and been dismantled for the day and I'm holding sites, but she's not allowed in the room when it's running. She likes to chew on soft, squishy cords to much, and the last thing I need is blood spurting all over because she chomped on something!

Or a claw in the line to contaminate everything. My chair is next to my desk and my cat, Kimi, sits next to me in her bed while I do dialysis. She steps on the arm of the chair and around my box of supplies to get to her bed, knowing that I don't want her on my lap or in my stuff while I'm running. During dialysis, every so often, she'll check on me by coming over and meowing in my ear.
