My son Billy was born 3 months early and had a few health problems, one of them being tongue tied, they clipped the piece of skin under the tongue, but clipped it too short. Billy had a horrible time with saying he's T's, they came out of his mouth as F's. You can imagine how embarrassed I was when I took him to the grocery store and he wanted to constantly talk about trucks. Lord I got some terrible looks back then. I still tease him about it.

many people (often those with children) seem to forget that littles have a hard time pronouncing certain sounds. i have a friend who's husband is a navel officer. when their youngest son was around 3 he would say "daddy goes bye bye on a big boat" which was fine with her because michael had trouble saying any word with a "p" in it.  the "p" in any word would come out as a "t" sound. therefore "big ship" would become "big shi......." imagine saying that to the captain.

we went to Allen's first Aggie game Saturday and a kid asked Allen for his autograph
the game was awesome -- even if we lost
there were 78,618 people there
we got good free seats
I make him food and he freezes it
I have this recipes for choc, peanut butter sandwiches that he loves
be glad to give you the recipes
but you may already know it
one of his roommates ate so many of them , Allen hid the rest in his room
I also make him breakfast tacos and he freezes them
Pelagia- hope you are not swimming now--- :waving;
Allen looks so cute in his Aggie outfit
he tells me not to say cute!

When my daughter was 3 or 4 years old we were eating pancakes one morning and she was trying to figure out how to spell syrup by sounding it out.

My son came home for a quick visit for fall break.  It was soooo good to have him home.  I thought for sure that he would want to take off in his car for distant places, but all he wanted to do was hang out with us and eat home cooking.  I made chicken and dumplings and apple pie - two of his favorites.  Then he was off to school again this afternoon.  He has team practice tomorrow.  We probably won't get to see him again until Thanksgiving.

When my son was 2 or 3, we were sat in the lounge when he asked if he could have a drink, knowing that there were some cartons at the bottom of the fridge I thought I would give him a bit of Independence and told him he could go and get a drink out of the fridge. Well he was very quite for a few minutes so I looked behind to see my son at the back of the room drinking a can of my beer that he had found in the fridge.
