Nala - Mom's Cat

« on: August 19, 2008, 10:10:26 AM »

Cath took mom to meet a potential new primary. Decided to keep the one she has and just get more aggressive when dealing with the specialists. Cath was a little annoyed when the doctor (they have trainers in with them all the time at this office) turned to the trainer and whispered - not once but twice. Cath asked 'do you have a question?!' Doc said 'I was telling him that I was correct in my initial assessment of your mom, that she is a dialysis patient.' Mom's graft is not very noticeable the doc said it was because of her coloring. Maybe because I see her so much, I don't notice it. That was bothersome enough, but then the doc asked mom, 'so are you starting dialysis next week?' Geez!

We have two appointments this week that I will be with her at. Kidney doctor tomorrow at 3:30 and vascular surgeon on Friday at 4:20. I'll let you know how those go.

Even though I'm not around much I think of you all often and all are in my prayers.  :grouphug;
