I'm back from my summer trip at Pine Knoll Shores, NC.  We had so much fun and the weather was great, hot but great.

I finally got to see my favorite lighthouse (Capelookout).  We drove to Harkers Island and took a boat to Capelookout shores.  We spent the day there swimming on both the ocean and sound side.

We also took a boat tour of Carrot Island to see the wild Mustangs roaming and Shackelford Island to see the wild Spanish Siberian horses.  The horses were so beautiful.

For the very first time, we all went parasailing.  I was so scared but I did it.  Soaring in the air was amazing.  The scenery from above was so beautiful.  I'm going to try to send some pics.  Just as soon as I can figure out how to reduce the size.

Thanks,
RG

Sluff - I hate to I'm going to miss Chicago's Reunion.  I was really looking forward to meeting all of you.  I hope when the next one comes around, I can make it.  I really want to spend quality time with my oldest daughter since she leaves for UNC-Chapel Hill in 2 weeks.  Please take lots of pics and post them.

What great pics RG.  You all look so relaxed and the parasailing looks like a lot of fun.  Your husband is a hunk too,  :shy; oops, did I just type that??LOL.

Gorgeous pics! I've also taken the boat from Harker's Island to Cape Lookout, and even camped for two nights way at the end of the island where Lookout is located. It was really cool to wake up at 3:00 am and watch the light sweep across the dunes! Thanks so much for bringing back such good memories!
