 ???
Far as i know it is still in my yard or up in a tree.

I went into the house after taking the video and when i came back it was gone.......
I hope it can last through our winter....
Actualy it may be under our house  lol..

We have a large yard,  half of it is woods so it has plenty of places to hide and hunt.

I once killed a snake in the garage as it had little snakes
that was a thrill to be part of that birth
you can get off subject---- who cares?
have you seen that video where the rabbit kicks the snake's butt and chases it
I have it but can not get it to post
I don't think it is already on IHD
it is so funny

if you get it can you post it here
I do not know how to do that
the snake looks as long as the one you had in your yard

I loved the video of the rabbit running off the snake but the best part was the man laughing out loud on the video.  I couldn't help but laugh when he kept on laughing and would say, "did ya see that honey, look at that, can you believe that?"   :rofl; :rofl; :rofl;

Just had a transplant on oct 7th of this year and my aunt..who want to  :Kit n Stik; tells me that she has been talking to a "kidney doctor friend" of hers and that i should "get rid of my two babies" I told her to go to hell and that it would have to be over my dead body that i give them up. If it wasnt for them, i would be deadly depressed and/or prob dead as they are my emotional lifeline. I have two babies, milo and chloe. Milo is my cuddlebug and during dialysis would curl up next to me and snuggle with me. He also likes to hit me if i am hiding under the covers and when he meows...the whole complex can hear him...the is loud...just like his mommy. Chloe is my independent little hunny and hates being picked up. When i do she will look at me like i am crazy and usually smack me. Here are pics of milo and chloe. Milo is dark with white and chloe is gray and white. I also love dogs but can't have one due to where i live. I had a dog and a cat years ago but my aunt made me give up them up...happened right after my mom died and i was dumb to listen to her. these babies i have now are my forever babies. i used to volunteer at the animal shelter nearby but had to stop as i wanted to adopt all the cats adn dogs. It got to be too hard emotionally.

In my transplant book given to me by my transplant center it says not to get new cats or dogs for a couple years, do not have birds, but if you already have cat's or dog's, use precaution when cleaning up after them and try to have someone look after them post transplant. We already had a cat and canaries in our house. I just never cleaned up after them. After a couple years I had a canary as a pet who would sit on my finger or ride around on my shoulder. I cleaned up after him by using a mask and gloves. I started not doing that to get the chore done and never had a problem. I just cleaned up afterwards. When I clean up after the cats when my mom is sick, I again where gloves and a mask, but I then change clothes and wash up afterwards. I still haven't had a problem. Many transplant patients haven't had a problem either, but it can happen. Your aunt's "kidney doctor" friend is either not fully informing your aunt or your aunt has selective hearing. Most transplant centers advise you on what to do if you have pets. Just wash up afterwards, face hands, and clothes if litter dust flies around. Always ask your center is the general advice and do not give them up Animals know when I am sick before I do, so keep yours around.

With me, anybody (family, relatives, friends, or strangers) who gives me advice that seems odd usually goes in one ear and out the other unless I want to rebut them to either piss them off or to show how stupid that sounded depending on mood. ;D >:D :twocents;

Yeah Claudia hun I know where you're coming from. I broached this subject with my neph, who is a top doc here in the wonderful land of Oz (it's the head prof of medicine for a major university here) and he said it was OK to keep my furry friend but as Chris said to wear gloves and be extra extra clean when cleaning up but that it wasn't really as much an issue now as it used to be and if you were careful - specially in those first 3-6 months post transplant when everything is settling and the drugs are at higher levels, is when you need to watch it most.. but it shouldn't be an issue...

So you keep your cute kitties they look sweet and I totally am with you about needing them.. I'd be lost without my Celeste!

From what I was told, use precautions if you have pets. You do have to be careful post transplant.
But if you did every little thing people recommend, you would never live a fun life.
You'd be in a bubble.

The key words are caution and precaution with pets. Birds are the wost shortly after transplan because they have the worst dander problem/dust mites, where dogs and cats do not have much of a problem with dander. You breath in dander that has bacteria shortly after transplant and that can wreak havoc on you because your body hasn't adjusted yet. People just make it over complicated when it's not. Just keep yourself clean after cleaning up after pets and do not touch your eyes, mouth, nose. As RM stated, pets are essential to ones well being.

Thank you..and i never did say i liked my aunt or that she was smart. i agree with the selective hearing... i often want to hit her upside the head.... :Kit n Stik; thank god she lives far far away from me...i have 2 litter boxes, an automated one and a reg one, i move the stuff from the reg one to the automated and vola it is cleaned. i wear gloves, masks, change my clothes and always jump into the shower after i clean the boxes. My aunt is a bitch and i have listened to her for too long. When it comes to my babies....on one is gonna separate me from them. My doctors and nurses all have said that it is ok to have animals as long as you take percautions, which i do like i said. Thanks for the support.
