Unfortunately he passed away in Sept of 2005. We don't know what he died from either since autopsy was over $2000 to do. There is a plan to get a Berman kitty in Feb with similar markings when they are both young.

Your cat was gorgeous, Chris! What beautiful fur. He reminds me a little of my Raja. Everyone always thought he was a pure bred cat -- even the vets would ask if he was a breeding animal! ha! He came from an orange tabby like cat and a tortishell colored cat. I miss him.

I'll have to try a smaller box. Ours plays with the water botle box with the wrapper still on and will stay in there if you drag the box around :rofl;

I took Slugger to the vet first b/c she had blood and she was leaking urine
Zuko was going Monday after D
he was gagging a little and he was not eating as much as usual
he was a big kitty who always slept on his back
and he was so sweet
Stasie got him 6 or 7 years ago at the pound
and we found out he had some disease that he should have been put down
the pound said bring him in and get another cat
Stasie could not do that
and from her first YMCA job - she paid the vet $500.00
Conroe Vet made the pound pay her back
so he was always well after that
he was a real clown kitty
he is dead
I have no idea why
he was young for a cat
he is the cat on the blue truck in my family pictures I added
I will miss him greeting me each morning that I go to dialysis
he always rolled on the ground and meowed at me
why do pets have to die
and Slugger and Sad Sack are sick, but the are a lot older

For twirl and everyone else who has lost a beloved pet.
It is sad and hard for sure.

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

and now I can not find Sad Sack, our old bassett hound
I made her go out and it was raining but we have a covered patio
and a fenced in yard
I put her out there with her meds in her feed bowl
that is the only way I can get her to take all her meds-- put her bowl by our other dog and she gulps everything down
she ran away - I knew she hated rain but she howls and begs to come in after a few minutes
she did not do that and I was reading about Flip and the next thing _ No Sad Sack
she has her name on her phone number on her collar and she is micro chipped
but no one has called and she is so old
I am going to have to call Allen at college and tell him
two pets and Flip in one week
gosh, this is hard
I keep praying I will hear her  outside begging to get in

but she is alive and I can hold her and kiss her and talk to her - at least for now
I have given up on Zuko - he never left his yard
a little brightness in my day and thank you God
