Should I go back to old working place?

Hi...

I'm blank now, need advise from friends here:

Formally I worked in Maintenance Department as Maintenance Supervisor (Analysers Group), due to my ESRF, in April 07, I was temporary attached in the Contract & Procurement as Techinical Buyer for our factory Major Turnaround, it is 100% desk job. In September 08 this section will be resolved, and I am on delima.

If I go back to the Maintenance Department - means I have to be on the field, cyciling around the plants, climbing ladders, etc. As I read Epoman stories how his hips fractured - it worries me.

I have told my immediate boss, my limitation in the field due to my sickness, about dailysis, what will happen after dailysis, my energy/strenght has decreased, not like those days.

So.. can somebody give me some suggestion on my delima stage...

I would ask you doctor if he thought this type of work was suitable for you. I would also ask him about your bones. Renal osteodystrophy is common for people with ESRD. Good Luck to you. I hope you can find something safe to do.

Epoman even admitted that his bones broke because he refused to take binders.  This damage was also before Sensapar, the medication to stop your parathyroid from producing a hormone that would leach calcium from your bones to balance your high phosphorous.  Thus making your bones brittle.

I would take the job and try it.  You can always tell them if you need to cut back.  Work as long as you can.
