We are all numb - it's making me so sad I cannot think. How can a little kitty have such an effect on a family?

I would check all local shelters, vet offfices and animal control. Have you left out any food for him or one of his favorite toys" Something with his or a family sent.

When our cat went wandering, luckily she just stayed a couple days a few doors down. We had lost notices at our local stores and vet offices. When when the person knocked on our door asking if we had lost our cat, our cat didn't look like herself at all. I took her to the vet to see if it was our cat by having her scanned for a microchip. Luckily it was our cat and just needed a very good bath. Think she must have gotten under something or in an engine compartment.

Hopefully your Tiger will comeback or be found. If he has a favorite treat in a bag, go outside shaking that too. They know that familiar noise.

I understand totally.

If there are any emergency vets, check with them.

Also, walk the neigborhood with photo in hand. I did this when Harry went missing. I found him first, but did start to receive reports from people who had seen him earlier.

I hope you find him safe and sound.

I hope Tiger turns up soon. He looks like such a little cutie in the painting and I'll bet your daughter must miss him.
My daughter is just receiving all of her college acceptance notices too and it's a real awakening knowing she won't be arond next fall.

Just saw this thread Okarol - sorry to hear about Tiger.  I've always had cats and dogs so I know how attached we get to them.

I'm hoping for the best on this one.   :grouphug;

This is very true.  I just remembered a friend's cat that disappeared for almost three months, and then he just showed up one day as if nothing had happened.

I am hoping for the very best.   :cuddle;
