Oh Twirl, I will keep thinking of Sad Sack. Our Styx snored his last few days. I would count the time between snores. I know you are having a hard time today.

Twirl, It isn't your fault. Dogs run off so easily. I know I keep talking about Styx, but a week before he died I let him outside to enjoy the warm sun as he layed in the grass. I turned my back (he could barely walk) and he was gone. I panicked. I finally found him curled up hidden under bushes by the shed. I think he just wanted a corner to die in by himself. So--don't bet yourself up. She may be turned around and not know her way in the rain. Maybe when the rain stops, she will be back at your door. I know this day just keeps getting worse for you, and I am sorry.

we Thought we lost our dog Rocky the very day we brought him home! He is half jack russel and half chihuahua, so he couldnt make any noise when he was a baby. He was asleep on a pile of clothes in my closet! I know how scary it is when you lose a pet!
