Today- Writer's Showcase at Truman Middle School. I get to babysit the display for two and a half hours.  I hope someone found a chair.

Tomorrow- Renal Support Network conference in Palm Springs.

today:  visit a friend I haven't seen in a while

tomorrow:  have lunch at the museum with my mother-in-law, my husband and my best friend.

Cadaveric transplant 1985
New upper-arm fistula April 2008
Uldall-Cook catheter inserted May 2008
Haemo-dialysis, self care unit June 2008
(2 1/2 hours X 5 weekly)
Self-cannulated, 15 gauge blunts, buttonholes.
Living donor transplant (sister-in law Kathy) Feb. 2009
First failed kidney transplant removed Apr.  2009
Second trx doing great so far...all lab values in normal ranges

Today, gathering hammer, screws and power drill, walking around the block to fix our privacy fence that has boards coming loose at the bottom.

Tomorrow, making new curtains for Len's office windows.

Exciting? I got nothing.

Today - Working at the thrift shop then watching the Laker game (ohh that will be exciting!)

Tomorrow - Sleep late and then some gardening.

Jenna is our daughter, bad bladder damaged her kidneys.
Was on in-center hemodialysis 2003-2007.
7 yr transplant lost due to rejection.
She did PD Sept. 2013 - July 2017

Today - Dropping kiddo off at the in-laws for an overnite stay and then we are going up to Kittery, Maine to do some shopping and eating  :bandance;.

Tomorrow - Sleeping late (or until the puppy wakes us up), going out for breakfast and enjoying our alone time until we pick kiddo up around 5:00 pm.

Wife to Rob who is currently doing Nx Stage Home Hemo Dialysis.

11/17/09 After 4 years on dialysis, Rob received a kidney from our George.  Kidney is working great!  YEAH!!!!

Today--stilll at my sister's, so will help my nephew order his tux for Prom.

Tomorrow--start my drive home!!  First to Charleston WVa to pick up my husband (he is flying in to help me with the rest of the drive) then home to Raleigh!  Yeah!! And it is my granddaughter's 5th birthday (the 29th)  It will be a good day!
