Going through life tied to a chair!

If they fire you, can't you collect unemployment while you look for another job? They usually have to pay into that, so take them for what it's worth.

I'm not sure since I was only part-time and I'm already receiving Social Security.  This bothers me but I'm trying NOT to let it.  I am out there on the floor trying.  I come to work on time and do my best.  I should be happy about that.  Maybe I'm too honest and I don't try and swindle people.

I think that would be a very hard job! Whenever I see someone trying to get leads like that, I make a wide detour. I don't envy the person trying to get my contact information.

I admire you. No matter how good I feel, there's no way I could do your job. Doing it while undergoing dialysis would be unthinkable! One lead an hour does seem unreasonable, given the economy, but give 'em hell, Rerun!

Today they had this lady "Michelle" come over from a different mall to help me or train me.  I thought "bring it on" because she won't get any leads either.  I'll be damned if she didn't get 3 leads for me.  She wore a long dress with a slit up to her ass and high heals.  Hmmmmm I wonder if that really helps.  She also talked really softly so the customer would have to get real close to hear her.

New things to try.  I get to work one more day to see how I do. Michelle gave me one of her leads to keep in stock in case I need it one day.... like tomorrow.

She wasn't drop dead gorgeous but attractive with a big ass mole on her chin.  I know I'm not drop dead gorgeous either and I have freckles so maybe people just don't want to deal with me.

Who knows!?  I'll try again tomorrow.

I like freckles, I think they're cute.  I also know that people who have them don't like being told that by people who don't have them but one of my aunts has freckles and I just like them a whole helluva lot.  I'd stop to talk to someone with freckles a lot quicker than to someone with a slit in her skirt.

Best of luck Rerun.

Well, I went to work with a black skirt with 2 slits up to my ass and a black tank top with a black and hot pink scarf!  I still didn't get any leads.  I guess they want me to work 3 hours today.  I'm exhausted!  I still feel if people want new windows they will tell me.

I also asked this one lady twice accidentally and she said "no thank you, no thank you" twice like I asked her.  I hate bitches!  I should have said, "oh, I'm sorry, I usually recognize ugly women".   Grrrrrrrr

I should talk really quiet to people so they have to say "what"?   Like (really quiet)  "Hey, shit head do you want some windows"  They would say "what" and I would say "we are giving free estimates on replacement windows".   How about "hey FAT ASS do you want some windows"  I mean "how fast do you need windows"?

Sorry!  I'm tired!

I got 2 leads on my own today.  They were right in a row; bam bam.  This is like bowling!  I hardly ever get a strike and when I do I don't know what I did different to get it!!!   I got another one but again they were from Idaho (30 miles away) and we don't have contractors in the area.

I also got asked out on a date!!!   :rofl;  The guy was from Canada and insisted on my phone number.  I haven't been asked out in years like not even in this century!  Well, Sluff has but he is a big tease!!!

I don't know if she will have me work again or not.  I took an application from Spokandy (a chocolate shop) Man, I would love to work there.  My labs would be bad but it would be worth it.

Nothing from my boss until yesterday to work 3 hours today reminding me that I need at least 1 lead and it must be a "hot call" (meaning the customer has to call the call center and make an appt right then)  Well, I didn't get any.

I'm wondering if she is just stringing me along hoping I'll just quit.  AND I will when I find another job.  In the mean time if she does fire me I'm going to say.... "by the way since I am fully disabled I need you to write a letter to my social worker on Sears letterhead as to why I was fired."

I got a message from my boss yesterday wondering why I didn't work yesterday?  I called her and left a message saying that I was not given a scheduel to work any other day except Tuesday.  I worked Tuesday and got no leads so I figured you were done with me.

I got the following email.... then I responded!

Darla,

You were termed clearly for not producing the minimums in productivity or in hot calls.
In July you ran a 24% Prod and 29% Hot calls. Through V2 of August you were at an .08 % Prod.     Our minimum is 33% Prod and 50% Hot.

Please be sure to fax me your time sheet for this week prior to Saturday. It was only 3 hours correct?

I will make arrangements to pick up the Sears property you have and must return as soon as possible. Or you can leave it with Rick or Michelle if you'd rather.

Good luck in your future endevors,

Debra,

I would really hate your job.  You are so focused on statistics that you lose all sight of common sense.  I am a good employee.  I am polite, dress professional, timely, and respectful to the customers.  In the long run you want Sears customers returning.

Since Sears obviously lost a huge amount of money on me I will not turn in my time sheet.  It would cost me $2 to fax it anyway.

I will however turn in my Sears property to Michelle as soon as I get to Northtown.

Have a productive day.

Sincerely,

Darla Irwin
