I know it's hard to tell .. heck it's hard to take a pic of your back shoulder..
It's the sun and the moon.... i got it a few years back after almost .. well not making it
out of the hospital when i went into anaphylatic shock..
So to me.. it is nite and day.. old and new.. the past the future...

And yes. you really.. unfortunately.. either like the feeling of the needle or not
both my daughter and i just doze off while getting a tat...
tracking down the next one i want.. two so far..
the other one is the .. rose with thorns on the ankle..to remind me of my childhood

I've been seeing all these kidney tattoos on here. Because my most recent one was put right in the center of my abdomen, just to the left of my belly button, my husband thinks I need a tat there to let docs know in case I'm ever not able to tell them myself. I like the Hello Kidney one!

I'm finding that tattoos are addicting!!  :-)

I'm going to try really really hard not to get another one.  If I end up breaking in, i'll add to my sun or my transplant tattoo somehow.

I've never been a fan of tatoos. I have enough scars and I've never been in prison.

I've had enough needles .  No electrolysis, no tattoos for me  and same goes for surgery.  No elective needles, no elective surgery.  If I hadn't had needles and scars in abundance then who knows what I may have felt?

It's fair enough if you're not a fan of tattoos, but people from all walks of life have tattoos, not just those who have been in prison.

When I was a kid the only people who had tattoos were servicemen, convicts and bikers. Now almost anyone will get one.

I realize I'm probably just old fashioned but I don't like tatoos, body piercings, and jeans that don't fit around the waist. Chalk it up to old age.

Hey, that's fine flip. You're entitled to not like them. Just don't assume that all of us who have them are crims, that's all.  :)

Maybe I've been watching too much Lockup on MSNBC. It's one of my favorite shows.

I have two. I have Bucky Katt from 'Get Fuzzy' on my back shoulder and a heart with vines on my lower back. It was in memory of my Dad. I got it just after he passed away. The vines represent a vine we had planted together when I was little. It was 'our vine.' It still grows today, all along the back fence of my mother's house.

I will post pics once I get a camera again.

I finally upgraded my mobile phone (that be "cell phone" in your language lol) and now have a camera on my phone, so I will attempt to take some pics of my bigger tattoo later. The smaller one is on my back, so I don't think I can quite reach!
