I'm a nursing student, and I am currently working in a non-clinical role within Davita. I'm really interested in learning more about the patients' perspectives, but maybe I can shed light from my side as well...

DavitaIsOK. Glad you joined us. This is an awesome web site where you are safe to say what you think and ask all kinds of questions. Just so you know, there are patients, caregivers, medical personal and friends that are members and we are here to support each other and not be judged because maybe we are having a bad day. There's plenty here to read covering every topic know to man-kind. Sit back, read, ask questions and if you need a good rant, do that also. Again,

Glad you joined us. My center has a constant flow of nursing students but they usually keep them away from me.

Welcome!! I'm a happy DaVita home hemo patient...they've always treated me incredibly well, but you will hear other stories from some on this board. All we ask is to be included in our treatment, informed about what's going on, and basically just treated like adults who are stuck with this disease.
