Cds, Dvds, and shoes ....

I can go in hiding now while you all mock me for owning way too many pairs of shoes especially considering the fact I am of the male type  ;D

Yes, but frenchy frog types do that, don't they?   (I mean that in the nicest way, hopefully you take it like that)    :-*

Call me frenchy if you may but for your information I became french at the age of 18 and I am also an american citizen.
A  yank and a frenchy all wrapped into this delicious package. >:D

And considering the amount of remarks I get from wearing a different pair of shoes everyday I'll be straight forward and say NO it's not common to have a lot of shoes here ( considering they cost an arm and a leg ( no pun intended ).

I primarily collect elephant stuff (mainly stuffed animals, but also purses with elephants on them, coat hangers, picture frames, mugs, windchimes, candles, and figurines).
I also collect foreign and old money, shot glasses, and ex-boyfriend's cats.

My mom collects elephant stuff, and has for as long as I can remember.  She isn't picky about trunk up or down (The luck is supposed to run out if the trunk is down), are you?  I always get her the weird and odd stuff, she gets a bigger kick out of them.

Hawkeye,
Coincidentally all my elephants have their trunks up... but I am not picky either way.  A friend once told me that if the trunk is up and facing the door you will always be lucky with money.  When I was in college I had that incorporated in my decoration and never went broke... so perhaps it's true....

Stopped counting scars a long time ago. If you just count the 5 PD Tubes in and out thats 15 scars. The Surgeons have been near the same scar a couple of times. One Venus loop fistula put in when I was 10 years old 7 scars, that fistula make a mess of my left arm. Now fed up of counting them 5 toe scars. Fistula in right arm 2 scars. Transplant 2 scars. Parathyroids out 1 scar. Reflux operations 2, 2 scars. EPS 3 scars. Trigger fingers 3 scars. Caths in chest 6 scars. Snapped tendon in right thumb 1 scar. Did that breaking the seals on the CAPD bags. All because of being an renal patient. Still more scars but not to do with dialysis. Total: can not be bothered to count them :-\

If you ask my husband, he'll tell you I collect too damn much. Precious Moments (all over the house) been collecting for 30 years, Marmalade dishes (kitchen and dining room), lighthouse stuff (home office), outhouse stuff (Master Bath), Noah's ark stuff (home clinic), teddy bears (main bathroom), red-white-blue (living room), Quilts (my craft room), and anything cross stitch. It's no wonder I hate to clean. ::)

I hate to clean but my home isn't filled with so much to tell about me! I am amazed! It sounds like just looking at your home would tell a LOT about you. I wish my home could tell a lot about me other than I am a pack rack with way too much stuff :(

I have always admired people who collect certain things. I think it tells a lot about a person.

I go through a mood periodically where I clean everything up and out.  I go through collections and if I no longer like it it goes.  I love glass things and have to watch myself at antique stores. I love pretty Mikasa glass and bowls and things.   Ohhhh. I COULD spend some cash!
