I'm here.. for us.

« on: May 12, 2008, 03:33:51 AM »

Yes yes yes!!!! :yahoo;

Keith will be flying into Miami tomorrow.. May 13th..

I'm so excited I'm climbing out of my skin!... I can't wait..
Three whole weeks....of being together, enjoying each other, life, love
and looking for a place for us to live. :guitar:

I have been pacing back and forth in excitement (stepped on the kitty's tail a few times)
Cleaned.. then cleaned some more..
Heck.. I've even been ironing to keep focused.

It will be fun to turn the tables on him at the airport and have him be the one arriving.
Although he has been to Miami previously.. a couple of times.. he was a tourist ages ago.
Now.. I get to really show him the real Miami and all the mom/pop places to eat and shop.

And sooo much more.  It will be sooooo wonderful having him to cuddle up to at nite
and not saying goodnite on the computer or phone instead.. :bandance;

My tummy is full of butterflies.. he's nervous too...

OMG!!!.. He'll be here tomorrow!!!!! :yahoo; :yahoo; :yahoo; :yahoo; :yahoo;

LOL.. You all are wonderful. :2thumbsup;

Got to the airport and of course was misdirected.. I was in Terminal G and it was Terminal J.. at Miami Airport.. the distance between the two felt like two miles.. And I ran that in sandals, hair just done.. etc.   BUT.. I got there in time as he was coming thru the gates. :clap;

So I snatched him .. gave him a big kiss (Hey Sluff we need a pic of lips giving a kiss!!).. it felt like I was home when we just stood there and didn't let go.

Came to my place.. unpacked..hmm.. (no details!)  then picked up my son from school... spent some time together..took my son to nite school then and we went to dinner.

Next day was his in center day (that part is in the *Centers* area)

He loves the sun and heat, fascinated by palm trees and the colors bursting from the plants and flowers..got to see free roaming iguanas about 5 feet long. .. We have been sooo busy we havent had time to take pics.

You see.. a neighbor right next to me and I had an altercation at the washer/dryers... Now.. I cant prove it was him.  But all 4 of my tires on my toyota that I was going to sell cause I got a new car.. were slashed on the side walls...police report.  Had to call a friend with 4 jacks to get the tires off, Apartment owner giving me grief, etc.  Keith wanted to have a little *chat* with him but like I told him.  I'll be moving in a few weeks.  The moron didn't know I bought a new car so now I park it far away.. almost at Denny's!! :Kit n Stik;

So its thursday morning, honey poo is sleeping away... but I'm wide awake so I came to visit for a moment with my friends!

Yes yes.. pics soon. :pics;. hopefully today..but wanted to let you all know.. everything is great.. wonderful... fantastic! :bandance; :bandance; :bandance;

Thanks for checking in with us, mysty. So glad to hear that you guys are having such a good time. :thumbup;

Ok, I understand that you may not have time for this right now, but when you get a chance, can you explain a little more about the 5-ft-long free-roaming iguanas? ???  Do they live nearby?  Are they friendly or scary? Can you sic one on your neighbor?  >:D  :rofl;

Update....
We found a nice two bedroom two bath.. reasonable...TG!!!!!

Weather has been great.. smoke from fires have had their moments covering the car in soot (Sp?).  Took Keith to the beach late one afternoon.  Had a blast.  Slowly packing to move yet again.

The most wonderful thing is the way we fall into step with each other.. like it's always been.

Moose.. iguanas are bough smallish as supposed pets.  maybe 6 inches long and they grow.. i mean reallllly grow, and when they get too big to handle people release them into the wild .. just anywhere basically.  South Florida being sooo tropical makes it a haven for them.  You can't sic them on a neighbor.. they are more scared of us but if you can manage to snatch one.. they are pretty nasty and bite and their tail whips at you.   Another bad thing is if you touch one or have one as a pet you have to watch for salmonella poisining.

I've attached a pic of Keith at the beach where .. guess what?  He's freakin smiling!.. yay!..

Anyways.. I'm checking in so no one worries... we are doing great..wonderful actually.  (And he survived a bit of my cooking- gasp!

More info on the dialyisis center area.
