Nice pics!  Makes me really look forward to Vegas!
Today I came in and someone was in my chair.  They said I was sitting elsewhere for today.  I was pretty upset about the way they did it.  I asked who made the decision and was told it was the head nurse.  I went to her and told her that we are not cattle and I am a patient, not a stock number.  They said that there was an issue with the machines which upset me even more as the machines are on wheels and they move them around all the time.  I sat down in the chair that they moved me to and found that the TV did not work.  I took off my BP cuff and walked across the room to another chair and checked the TV and it worked.  I then moved all my stuff and sat down in the other chair and advised them that my set up needed to be moved.  They did.  I am NOT second shift chair 1. I am Marc.

Geez, sounds like they were lazy on Monday. I never had to move to a diifferent chair if there was a machine problem, they just moved a machine and told me beforehand.. It would have been proper to tell you also before you went back to your spot also.

Back to HD 2nd transplant Dec 10 failed after 11 months
Difficult times with a femoral line and catching MSSA (Thank you Plymouth Hospital)
Back on HD (not easy to do that third time around)
Fighting hard (two years on) to do home HD ... watch this space!
Oh and I am am getting married 1/08/15 to my wonderful partner Drew!!!

I had issues like this where they would have the machine on the wrong side for my line and be too lazy to move it so I too
refused to sit down UNTIL they did. WE ARE NOT CATTLE.
Lets campaign to treat patients like people and Make a Stand xxx

Trying to pack all the wicked stuff I have bought back into my case...have  overindulged @ Victoria Secret and GOdiva Chocolates and
Macys and a lovely little shop called chiaroscuro (try saying that after 3 margaritas!!!) hope i dont have to declare my spending on the way out!!!
