Very Very Hard to find a ral pizza place near me, it's all chain pizzarias. Were I use to live had great pizza, but it is40 miles away and not an easy drive.

I opened one of my flats of Fannie May chocolate and it wasn't the one I thought I was opening. The one I opened then wasn't what the sign said at the warehouse. It was suppose to be milk chocolate covered pistashios, but was white chocolate instead. Still good tho and 383 more pieces to go.

By the way, I like the thin crust pizza also MM, but wish they would cut the pizza in triangle slices like they use to.

NY thin style pizza is the best. A nice ice cold beer along with it is perfect.  :beer1;

I'd like to try their pizza and their pastrami from one of the original deli's that first made it.

Rice milk sounds disgusting, YLGuy.  Did you know that in England they drink barley water? :puke;

When I was in the later stages of pregancy, I developed pre-eclampsia (turns out that probably triggered my fsgs) and had to go to hospital.  While I was still in casualty, one of the nurses brought me barley water.  I didn't know what it was, but I took a sip to calm my nerves.  I'd never tasted anything quite like that.  In the 18 years I lived in England, I had only that one encounter with barley water.  That was quite enough, thank you very much.

What's the worst thing you've ever drunk?

I had really bad pre-eclampsia with my last one and was hospitalised for 5 months prior and then in ic afterwards. The kidneys virtually packed up (well she was number four!!!) and my child-bearing days were over!

Worse thing I ever drunk??? Brandy when I was about 16, I drunk a whole bottle of it at a post school play party and slipped into oblivion
and now if I even smell brandy I want to  :puke; immediately. Hate the stuff x

Five months!!  Good lord!  I was in "only" six weeks.  But you know what?  I was in the antenatal ward in Mayday Hospital in Thornton Heath (nr Croydon).  It was down the long hall from the regular post natal ward.  There were only 4 beds, and I saw a lot of ladies come and go.  They all had amazing stories.  We would sit up all night and talk.  It was like having a sleepover every night!  Despite the circumstances, it was one of the happiest times of my life.  I don't know why...I guess just having the company and the chance to talk to so many other pregnant women.

I'm not a fan of brandy, but I do like a nice cognac.

I used to play scrabble and trivial pursuit with doctors on call!!! Wasn't allowed out of bed truly truly awful time and I'd been transferred to London Whittington hospital so not many visits! Amazing that baby (Tiffany) survived really.

NO after dinner cognac for me   :puke;

There was a young lady who had been in the hospital since her 19th week.  Her first pregnancy ended in a miscarriage.  It was later discovered that her uterus was bifurcated (I think that's the word), ie, it was normal sized but inside, it was split in two.  So, the baby had only half the normal space in which to grow.  She and her husband decided to try again, and since it was a high risk pregnancy, they hospitalized her at 19 weeks.  I don't know how far along she was when they decided that she and I should be roommates; I guess they thought we'd be in for a long time.  She was by this time bedridden, and she hated having to call for the bedpan with me in the room.  I felt really bad for her.  After we had been roomies for only 2 days, they let me go home for the weekend.  When I got back, she had just gone into labour and ended up with a healthy baby.  Two days after that, my kidneys started to fail, so I had a C-Section.  Neither of us ended up needing that room for very long.

Maybe tomorrow night I'll tell you a story about another lady I encountered in the antenatal ward.  What happened to her makes me laugh to this day.  But for now, I'm going to bed!  G'night, and until the morrow...

I have to stop putting bets on horses that don't finish or get knocked over by other horses.
Today's results 1 x 2nd
                     2 x pulled up
                     1 x knocked down by other horse when 2nd
                     1 x still to run

What a day .... :(

I don't know anybody who drinks that vile stuff!  Or at least, nobody who admits to it (but somebody must buy it because it's in the supermarket!)

I'm the same with Barcardi and also for the same reason (although I was nineteen and at uni.)

I used to drink a whole bottle of very cheap sherry every Thursday before going to Student Night at the nightclub whilst at university.  That's the worst thing I've had to drink (not for taste, but for the why, oh why? factor), although it was surprisingly yummy and did keep me buzzing all night long.
