:2thumbsup; :2thumbsup; On the quote and avatar.  Is that the "sea of love"?

Just that so many folks on IHD love him!  :clap;

Looney, I'm so glad you will be able to help your SIL closer to home. The past few weeks must have been exhausting! I hope she is comfortable and improving.

That's sort of how it was when I first joined here Rob... happy for good things that happen to people and supportive with the bad things.  I'm excited for Maker too, and happy for looneytoons.  "That's all folks"

Chris, were you out roaming the streets of Chicago last night instead of celebrating with Hanify in Chat?

Early dialysis today to make up for our missed treatment last night. Carl opened the clamps on the saline line without thinking and we drained an entire bag into him before the air started. Had to abort.

Sigh.

We were joking around and acting silly instead of seriously attending to the serious process we were performing.

Note to self: humor is not allowed during set-up!  :rofl; :rofl;

Kathy, the thing is, setting up is so routine now, that we really don't have to think about what we are doing any more. You will get there. Give it time. If you only learn one or two new things each day, you will become an expert! Trust me. Just don't make the same stupid mistakes.  :2thumbsup;

Aleta - for some reason it makes me feel better to know that other people make silly mistakes too!!  It's always when you feel the most confident that you just do something like that eh?  Newbies - keep in mind that it's not usually the end of the world - you just adjust and do something a bit different that day - like Aleta and Carl have.

Good morning, everyone.

Hanify, you'll be DELIGHTED to know that Carl and I, well, just me this time, made another big mistake last night. I forgot to unhook the drain line from the saline bag and that 1 liter bag filled up with over 4 liters of waste.  :banghead;

Good thing I caught it BEFORE it exploded!  :rofl;

Have a great day everyone.
