Aleta, that's a great comparison, and a good therapist is definitely a teacher in many respects, so I think it fits especially well here.

It is very cold in Raleigh right now.  We are having the coldest stretch of days since the '70's!   Bright and sunny, but cold. I am staying inside, under a warm blanket doing nothing. There is plenty I need to do, but I am not doing any of it.   I am declaring it a "cold" day and having my own holiday.    :rofl;      And Beth returns from NYC tonight.  Yea!

Good thing is, it will be back to normal in a few days.  That is what I love about our area. We can get some snow, we do get cold, but it all goes away as quickly as it comes.   Of all the states I have lived in, I will stay right here in NC.  Of course, I don't ever want to move again, so no matter where I am, that is where I am staying.   :rofl;    But when it is this cold, I want to see some snow!  (if I can stay home!)    :rofl;     :rofl;

Just got home, went to Panera Bread with a friend and had a panani for the first time. Thought it was soft bread, Nope!Cleaned kitchen floor on hands and knees an I come home and there's a mess in the kitched, CRAP!

Eye impairments and blindness in one eye began in 95, major one during visit to the Indy 500 race of that year
   -glaucoma and surgery for that
     -cataract surgery twice on same eye (2000 - 2002). another one growing in good eye
     - vitrectomy in good eye post tx November 2003, totally blind for 4 months due to complications with meds and infection

Diagnosed with ESRD June 29, 1999
1st Dialysis - July 4, 1999
Last Dialysis - December 2, 2000

Kidney and Pancreas Transplant - December 3, 2000

Cataract Surgery on good eye - June 24, 2009
Knee Surgery 2010
2011/2012 in process of getting a guide dog

Diagnosed Nov 2007 with Multiple Myeloma.
By Jan 2008 was in end stage renal failure and on haemodialysis.
Changed to CAPD in April 2008.  Now on PD with a cycler.  Working very part time - teaching music.  Love it.  Husband is Paul (we're both 46), daughter Molly is 13.

Old fashioned way of cleaning is sometimes best. Mops just can't scrub hard and don't get the tile gout(?) clean to well.

My 11 year old and I share the master bedroom.  All his little stuff was scattered about.  I bought a cabinet just for his stuff and organized it today.

Jenna is our daughter, bad bladder damaged her kidneys.
Was on in-center hemodialysis 2003-2007.
7 yr transplant lost due to rejection.

Morning IHD - Monday - back to reality after all the holiday celebrations.  Snow cleared out for now.  Some parts of our state received 32 inches of snow..... better them than me.  We only got around 8 to 10 inches which is very manageable.
