I think I could very uncheerfully say today and today's dialysis session was one of my worst ever days...

Am off to Addenbrookes today for check up so we get to drive through Newmarket at the right time to see all the horses and then Drew has promised me lunch somewhere (depending on how long we have to wait to be seen) either Bills, The Gog Madoc farmshop or the hospital baguette shop!!!  :P

Hello Sugar,
Good luck at Addenbrookes and hopefully they can assist you to create easier sessions ...
... and hopefully you won't have to wait too long to be seen...
Fingers crossed and best wishes from Kristina.

     ;D.     True, quiet. Well today the sun is shining, and I'm still recovering from my 9 day holiday in Portugal. (It's the traveling that's the problem) but it was great, lots of sun, every day 30*C. I did forget the connections for the bags, but Nxstage got them out to me in 2 days.

We have booked to go to Antibes for 2 weeks in September (honeymoon) after finding it impossible to do NZ from a dialysis viewpoint sadly.
But The South of France beckons, a really nice hotel in Juan-les-pins, trips to Cannes and Monaco and maybe the Italian coast, little trains, glass bottom boat trips, wine tasting tours ...
the sunshine, beach and blue water...Can't wait....  8)

Good luck to you both!
Antibes was also my first stop some years ago and later I travelled along the Côte d'Azur to Milano and Venice.
Antibes is such an unforgettable, fascinating place to relax and I do hope it brings you both lots of joy!
September is also a very clever time to travel because the sun is still very warm but not so hot and piercing anymore...
I wish you both a happy journey and lots of good wishes from Kristina.  :grouphug;

P.S. A very inspiring song to listen to is "Charles Trenet - La mer", a very French "hymn to the sea" and the Côte d'Azur ...

"Where do you go to my lovely..." song!
I am looking forward to going to the Picasso museum there too.

Hello Sugar,
I have just listened to "where do you go to my lovely"  mentioning Sacha Distel etc.
... and Nino Ferrer : Le Sud - 1975 is also very suitable if you "go south" in September...
One of my favourite French singers is Serge Reggiani - Ma Liberté ...  :grouphug;

More healing vibes for your ankle Sugar. Dry, and some sun outside, so no complaints here. Hosp called: they are going to discuss my fistula in the next MDM (multi discipline meeting?)

Garden looks lovely today.
Have slowly been creating a white garden, with a touch of silver and green, and the occasional stray marigold!
It feels so peaceful, sitting out and only birds in earshot... :flower;
