Yeah, because I already had 2 fistulas when I was 18 in my left arm that 'died' so there's no useable veins there anymore (sad face smiley)

My fistula is on my right side but I am left-handed. My brother and I (the 2 youngest) are both left-handed. My Mom used to say she knew it was time to quit (there's 5 of us) when she started having left-handers!

When I was little I used my left hand to write. My grandfather would take the pencil out of my left hand and tell me that was wrong. He made me right handed. I can still write with my left hand but it is nor very good.

Nocas, not yet and have checked email each time I wake up. However they are 2 hours behind me, so there's still time today and always tomorrow.
Just got a call from them, but was just to clearify health issues to make sure I was stable. So that's progress and still hope to hear back by Friday.

The temp tech hooked up the lines backwards at the end of my treatment. He pumped at least 500cc's of my blood into the saline bag. I saw him panicking and looked up to see the bag about to burst. All I could do is laugh at him.

Still sleeping a lot. Had test done to check for pneumonia and other things. Anemic and dehydrated labs showed when I checked my online health health report with the hospital. Just have to wait till Monday to see my normal doctor on what's next, but getting IV fluids would help me feel better I think. No word from first choice guide dog school yet, but right now I can wait.
