I lost my dog this morning ... considering he's a big labrador quite difficult but did find him again in a neighbours garden
an unexplained mystery how he got there too! Fenced in !

3 years HD 1st transplant Feb 08 failed after 3 months
Back to HD 2nd transplant Dec 10 failed after 11 months
Difficult times with a femoral line and catching MSSA (Thank you Plymouth Hospital)
Back on HD (not easy to do that third time around)
Fighting hard (two years on) to do home HD ... watch this space!
Oh and I am am getting married 1/08/15 to my wonderful partner Drew!!!

and a little on technology too!
I got up way late, after 3 pm. Meds were taken waaay late, but was up till 7 am due to eating some bad food I think that didnot agree with digestion.

Sorry I hadn't been back hre for a couple of weeks. Lot going on. I got my letter from Duke Transplant Center. I am offically on the list! Oh yeah, I know there is going to be some time before I'll get a call, but it is a step.
I met a lady on Facebook from my old home town whose husband jsut started dialysis in December and who was looking for info on it. I recomend IHD and the Ntional Kidney Foudnation web pages, as well as suggested some of you who are my friends on Facebook to be her friends. I hope she comes here.
