I'm exhausted and barely did anything. I guess I'll do my taxes even though I do not have to file.

YLGuy, I did get one ramen cup of soup today. Took awhile to find since it wasn't with the regular brick o' ramen noodles. There weren't any won ton noodle soups in a cup though.

Wish me luck folks for biopsy tomorrow.
Have to be at hospital by 8.30am and pray bp low enough so as not wasted journey and that they don't find any further antibody mediated rejection.

 :2thumbsup;  :2thumbsup;  :2thumbsup;
Nervous? Who me? (of course ... waiting for results worse than the op!)

Wouldn't you rather have bp low enough rather than have a biopsy? However I understand the wasted trip part when gas/petrol cost has risen so high.

Good luck in 18 hours time!

Home from camping.  It was an incredible trip.  We woke up early Saturday and went fishing.  The fish were really biting.  We caught a bunch of trout. Yum! Then we went out to the desert for a couple of hours and shot guns.  Shotguns with clay pigeons, 22's, a 9 mm & a 44 magnum. Later, we rode quads and my soon to be 13 year old learned how to shift with a clutch.  He did awesome. Like he was an old pro.  I got to see a bunch of father's I had not seen in awhile.  My son and I had such a great time!

Now the downside.  Later in the day my access arm started to swell inside the elbow.  It was pretty swollen, red, throbbing and extremely painful.  After I got home from camping I showered and went to the ER.  They took labs and put me on IV antibiotic for 2 hours.  I have to see my neph at 8:30 and he will let me know if I can go to dialysis at 9:20.

Last night they gave me Vancomycin IV. This morning my nephrologist put me on Cipro orally and then I got a bag of Gentamicin IV at the end of dialysis. He also ordered another bag of Vancomycin IV for dialysis on Friday. I see him Thursday morning and he is going to see if there is a clot in my arm.‎ Oh ya, I also got Vicodin for the pain :)

Maybe it's just me, but if my thought of a possible clot, I would order est for my patient sooner than later to help diagnose problem rather than putting dialysis function at risk or potential risk of the clot moving elsewhere. :rant;

Not going to good. I hve left 2 messages on two different numbers to find out when the next date will be because she did not have her scheadule with and I haven't been called back yet and she is only in the office on Monday's when I tried calling again. It is frustraiting because I need to plan around doctor appointments and she is not giving me options.
