Today when I walked into dialysis my tech tried to otell me that my chair was moved.  I said ya, right and put my stuff down on my regular chair.  He did not fool me.  During dialysis, when my cuff would inflate I would flex and set off the alarm.  The techs kept coming over and adjusting the cuff and re-inflating it.  They never figured out what was going on.  Betty, the little old lady who sits diagonal from me kept watching me do this and was cracking up.  At the end of dialysis I told them my little April fools joke on them and we all had a great laugh.  My tech told me about a patient he had who would kink their arterial line when he needed something.  I said maybe next year.
