Neuropathy in legs age 10

Eye impairments and blindness in one eye began in 95, major one during visit to the Indy 500 race of that year
   -glaucoma and surgery for that
     -cataract surgery twice on same eye (2000 - 2002). another one growing in good eye
     - vitrectomy in good eye post tx November 2003, totally blind for 4 months due to complications with meds and infection

Diagnosed with ESRD June 29, 1999
1st Dialysis - July 4, 1999
Last Dialysis - December 2, 2000

Kidney and Pancreas Transplant - December 3, 2000

Cataract Surgery on good eye - June 24, 2009
Knee Surgery 2010
2011/2012 in process of getting a guide dog
Guide Dog Training begins July 2, 2012 in NY
Guide Dog by end of July 2012
Next eye surgery late 2012 or 2013 if I feel like it
Home with Guide dog - July 27, 2012
Knee Surgery #2 - Oct 15, 2012
Eye Surgery - Nov 2012
Lifes Adventures -  Priceless

Just got home.  My oldest has a paper due tomorrow on a jazz performance so of course we went tonight to a jazz club tonight.  It was pretty good.

It hit 80 today sdo it was very nice outside but thursday night it suppose to get down into the upper 30s.

As I was coming out the Nephrologist office, I thought the sky was falling.
Knew I was going on dialysis since November 1999.
Had a fistula put in January 2000.
Been on 4-1/2 hour dialysis since August 28, 2001. (They took out 35Kg that single week)

Maria hasbeen on hemodualysis since January, 2005

Admin for IHateDialysis 2008 - 2014, retired.
Jenna is our daughter, bad bladder damaged her kidneys.
Was on in-center hemodialysis 2003-2007.
7 yr transplant lost due to rejection.
She did PD Sept. 2013 - July 2017

Home from p.t. and now I was suppose to call someone, but forgot. Still waiting for prednisone to gain weight if that is one plus that this med side effect is suppose to do.

I had a dentist appt too.  They were supposed to pull a wisdom tooth.  They did not use Heperin today at dialysis so this could happen (per my nephrologist's orders).  When I got to the dentist all of a sudden the dentist wanted my Nephrologist to sign off on the extraction.  The dentist knew on Monday that I was a dialysis patient and scheduled the extraction for today.  Of course, at 5 the nephrologist was not in the office so now the extraction is scheduled for Friday.   ???

You know that Thanksgiving and Christmasis is around the corner because when Walmart has fixings for the turkey and tamales(corn husks, masa and chilies) out in front of the store as you go in. Oh, I can't wait till I sink my teeth into a homemade warm tamale. :2thumbsup; :2thumbsup;

Nothing new today, still waiting on weight gain from prednisone, but not the chipmonk face. At 5mg I don't know if this is a somewhat high dose or not, so I need to go back and read old post. That should be my plan to do something this weekend.
