We have had a small reprieve from the heat here also.  I could open my windows and let fresh air in!  But, back in the 90's today so the air conditioning is back on. 

Okarol.  I am glad the brave kidney is still doing it's thing.   :2thumbsup;    Such good news.

I win for the moment.  I am sure Galvo will be here later and take over my spot.  Or maybe ChickenLittle will be done working in the yard and come back for the win.   We shall see!

its been a busy week, three of my sisters came down from Chicago for a week. One of them plopped a lawn chair on the porch roof trying to get tan today. I told her I hope she doesn't distract the flyboys from the nearby AFB while she is up there. They are in training :rofl; :rofl; :rofl; :rofl;

As I was coming out the Nephrologist office, I thought the sky was falling.
Knew I was going on dialysis since November 1999.
Had a fistula put in January 2000.
Been on 4-1/2 hour dialysis since August 28, 2001. (They took out 35Kg that single week)

Maria hasbeen on hemodualysis since January, 2005

7 yr transplant lost due to rejection.

 :cheer: My son's Pop Warner football team won their first game 25-6. The boys really did a great job. We won against a team that we have not won against in 7 years.  :cheer:

bladder cancer 1994
renal failure April 2009 due to blocked right ureter. Left kidney 20% function
November 18 2009 surgery to remove right ureter.
April 3, 2010 removal bladder, prostrate, left kidney.
June 11, 2010 started Hemo @ hospital
July 2, 2010 Embolized right Kidney due to hemoraging of tumor
September 11, 2010 RIP my love

Nice weekend.  I took the kids up to my buddies beach house in Ventura.  Saturday night we had Chateaubriand with a wine that was one of the 10 best wines in the world.  (Don't ask me what the name was because I know very little about wines I just know it was very good).  Sunday night we were treated to lobster.  They had some of the largest lobster tails I have ever seen.  Our host catches them scuba diving.  Today I switched my dialysis to 5:30am.  Then football practice at 10 and a team BBQ afterward.  School starts tomorrow!
