Morning IHD - time to get up and see the frost all over my lawn.  UGH  Mother's Day was cold and windy and it snowed.  UGH.  Yesterday way cold with 25 mph north winds.  This morning it is 30 degrees BUT the sun is shining for now.

Yesterday I found a robin's half egg shell on the ground underneath a big old oak tree.  I couldn't see the nest.  Question - will the little robins survive this horrible cold?  My husband says it is parents job to keep those babies warm.  Lets hope the birds see it that way.

Have a bright sun shiny day everyone.   :flower;

Marc, I just thought you needed your beauty sleep   :2thumbsup;   :rofl;

I had one Ambien CR that the doctor had given me as a sample.  Last night was the chosen night and I slept all night. Didn't get up once.  Now, if they made a generic version instead of having to pay the name brand co-pay!    I am hoping my body will remember how good sleeping felt and do it again tonight.   :thumbup;

Is Galvo sleeping?  Can I win for while?

Where is Slywalker and looneytunes?

We let you win for quite awhile, Kitkatz.    :2thumbsup;

Today, I bought a few groceries, pretended to clean the refrigerator  (got rid of old food  :thumbdown; ) and planted one plant. A Jacob's Ladder.  That is it.  I am trying to think I had a very productive day   :rofl;

I have to go knock on doors for census work. Ya know, people do not like being disturbed when they get home from work. I bet they wish they'd not thrown away those census forms now.  :P

And,while I am here, I will take the WIN!!  :bandance;

I sent my form right away because I didn't want anyone knocking on my door!   How is it going?  What kind of area do you have to go to?

I am winning for a bit, but I think Galvo will be here and take over soon.

Where is Chris?  Slywalker?  Looneytunes?

10 years ago my job was to train the people to knock on the doors and then drive around and make sure they were doing it.

Wow, it didn't occur to me that the Crew Leader may be stalking us, to see if we are working. They have us ask for the phone numbers of the people we enumerate and then they will randomly call to see if it's authentic, I suppose.
The areas I am in are all within 5 miles of my house so it's not bad, I can take Johnny to school, do a neighborhood, then go to the market and home, then back out before the 8 PM curfew.

Yes, I had their cars make, model and license plates numbers and would ask them when & where they were enumerating.  Then I would drive their neighborhoods and see if their cars were really there.  Before we did the non-response follow-up I was a special places operations supervisor and we counted homeless people.  That was very interesting.
