I have learned recently that if I take the pain killers, I have a better quality of life. I fought them long and hard, but now am surprised at how much better I get through my day.    Take the pills and feel better----that incision looks horrific and your neck must be in constant pain.

You, too,Chris!  Take the pills!      Hope your knee is starting to heal.   :cuddle;

Okay, excuse my language but WTF! I go in today and let them know about the cramps.  The nurse says to not bring me down to my dry weight.  We decide on .3 above.  I have been having problems with one of my buttonholes so the tech has been using a sharp on that side.  Today he went right through, deep into my arm. OUCH!  Then, when I was done I weighed myself.  Then I weighed myself again.  I was .9, almost a full kilo below my dry weight.  I tell the tech that he set the machine wrong and he shows me that he did not.  Then another tech says that the scale has seemed to be wrong once in awhile lately.  WHAT! I say.  Don't you think that the scale is a pretty important part of the treatment?  Yes, we should tell Theresa to have it looked at.  Now I will be afraid to go to sleep tonight.

This day just keeps getting better.  On a good note my daughter is getting an academic award this evening.  When we got home from school I made her try on what she was planning on wearing.  We needed to go to the store to buy a new dress.  As I sat waiting while she tried on dresses I overheard a lady complaining that she did not get her senior citizen discount.  My daughter picks out a very nice dress I pay for it and we leave.  As we walk out the door my daughter starts cracking up.  Dad, dad...they gave you a senior citizen discount!!! Ha, ha, ha. I look at the receipt and they had. OMG, that really made my day.  I am 47.  ???

Poor Marc!  You just kept having insult heaped upon injury.  I know your daughter looked lovely in her new dress and award night was a good time for you both.  You have some pretty special kids  - bright, kind and involved.  Good job!   At least the clerk didn't ask if she was your granddaughter!   :rofl;    I'll say a little prayer that you have a good night's sleep and have no cramping.

I'll let Marc win tonight. He has had a rough day   :2thumbsup;

The award ceremony was great. So proud of my daughter.  Going to drink some tonic water before bed.  I would cross my fingers but that would probably make them cramp.

That was what I was thinking Marc, to drink some fluids. Hard part is how much before next treatment.

While everyone is sleeping in this morning I'll drop by for a win!!!

The snow has come and gone - poor spring flowers are taking a beating.  Parts of the State got up to 18 inches.  I only had about six inches and my doggie thought winter had started again and he was happy as heck.  He loves to run in the snow.  When he got done yesterday he had little snow balls all over his body because the snow was so sticky.  Let the melting begin.  Temps are suppose to warm up today.  This morning it is 31 degrees.

The other great thing is that although many people in the service industry refer to me as mam - no one has offered me a senior citizen discount.   :bandance;

Have a great day everyone.

Signing in for the day/night.

Today I got pic's of knee surgery from surgeon during my post op check up, didn't expect that. I wish they were labeled though, I can;t remember which shot is which of the lateral and medial side of the knee. I can see parts of the damage though and one shows the fix. Unfortunately this is a temp fix and will have to do this again in the future before a knee replacement and then the right knee.

Now the intense physical therapy starts next week.
